After 6 years in The Mothered City I decided that a change was needed. So within a week, I resigned from a corporate job that tortured my soul and drove the 17 hours with ice-cream machine, Wusthof's and cat in tow. And now I turn back to my first love - food.


The taste from one of my final meals in Cape Town that has stayed with me was a warm croissant with slouchy Fontina and side salad from cafe Milano on Kloof Street. My passion for patisserie, the one that will keep me running (forever) but always smiling, found its home at this quaint eatery. 


So now I go in search of foodie delights here in Jozi, my new home. All recommendations welcome for this lady who is always keen to snack.
